Iryna Vikkholm is a Russian national convicted under Article 367 of the Criminal Code (slander against the president).
The woman was taken into custody in a pre-trial detention center.
Vikkholm was arrested on 28.05.21 for a Tweet written on 23.05.21. The Tweet led to publication on LiveJournal with a repost of a publication by BBC News Русская служба about the incident with the Ryanair plane. Vikkholm added her headline to the repost: "Another crime of Lukashenka: an act of state aviation piracy". The controversial phrase was a quotation from the BBC text as a reaction of the Greek Foreign Ministry.
On 20.09.21 Vikkholm was sentenced to 1,5 years imprisonment a general-security penal colony, after the Maskoŭski Court in Brest found her guilty of “slander against the president” (Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Belarus).
Iryna fully served her sentence and was released on September 1, 2022. She was immediately deported to Russia. She is banned from entering Belarus for 10 years.
Iryna Vikkholm ist russische Staatsbürgerin. Sie wurde wegen eines Tweets festgenommen, in dem sie die Entführung der Ryanair-Maschine und die Verhaftung des Oppositionellen Raman Pratasevich am 23.05.21 als "weiteres Verbrechen Lukashenkas" und als "Akt staatlicher Luftpiraterie" bezeichnete.
Vikkholm wurde wegen Verleumdung des Präsdidenten angeklagt und am 20.09.21 zu 1,5 Jahren Haft verurteilt.
Iryna hat ihre Strafe vollständig verbüßt und wurde am 1. September 2022 entlassen. Sie wurde unmittelbar nach ihrer Freilassung nach Russland abgeschoben. Die Einreise nach Belarus ist ihr für zehn Jahre verboten.

Задержана 28.05.21 за твит, написанный 23.05.21. Твит вел на публикацию в "Живом журнале" с перепечаткой материала BBC News Русская служба про инцидент с самолетом Ryanair. Викхольм к перепечатке добавила свой заголовок: "Очередное преступление Лукашенко: акт государственного авиапиратства", причем фраза "акт государственного авиапиратства" приводилась в тексте BBC как реакция МИД Греции.
Женщину обвинили по ч. 2 ст. 367 УК (Клевета на президента). Судья Московского суда Бреста Евгений Бреган 20.09.21 года принял решение наказать Ирину лишением свободы на 1,5 года в колонии общего режима.
Ирина полностью отбыла наказание и 01.09.22 вышла на свободу, после чего сразу была депортирована в Россию. Женщине запрещено въезжать в Беларусь в течение 10 лет.
